Geilo is easily accessible from both Bergen and Oslo, located approximately halfway between Norway's largest cities along Route 7, or by train to Geilo - where you can put on your skis and head straight to the ski slopes. Geilo has good driving conditions throughout the year.

About Geilo
Geilo - An all-year activity paradise, with stunning colors in all four seasons.
Easily accessible on Highway 7, midway between Oslo and Bergen, with good road conditions throughout the year.
Conveniently reachable by car, bus, and train, taking approximately 4 hours by all modes of transport from both Oslo and Bergen, ideally 5 hours during peak season.
Recommended activities include cycling (available for rent), jogging, hiking in the mountains, hunting, fishing, skiing (cross-country and downhill), dog sledding, horseback riding, and much more.
Ski lifts operate year-round. A free bus service connects Geilo and Vestlia, allowing you to ski on both sides of the valley.
