Parking: In summer, multiple cars can park by the cabin. In winter, there is one marked spot, with additional parking available for a fee (30m walk from parking to cabin).

Activities:
Winter: Cross-country skiing, with the cabin as a great starting point. Ski trails are almost at the cabin's doorstep.

Nearby Attractions: Easy access to Geilo for more skiing and other outdoor activities

Train: Ustaoset is serviced by Vy, with several daily departures from Oslo and Bergen, making it easily accessible year-round.
