The cabin is west-facing at the bottom of Budalen, enjoying sun from morning to evening. From the cabin door, it's a short distance to the fantastic cross-country skiing network in Geilo, spanning over 500 km with a mix of groomed trails and marked trails in the high mountains.
Geilo is easily accessible from both Bergen and Oslo, located roughly in the middle of Norway's largest cities along Route 7, or by train to Geilo - where you can put on your skis and head straight to the downhill slopes. Geilo has good driving conditions throughout the year. -
