The cabin has a dream location on Golsfjellet, with a short distance to cross-country skiing trails. Here you will find as many as 350 kilometres of prepared trails, which take you through a beautiful winter landscape. In summer, the area offers a network of hiking trails and cycling paths suitable for both beginners and experienced adventurers. There are also lovely streams and waters nearby, perfect for fishing enthusiasts who want to try their luck after brook trout.
Storefjell Resort Hotel, only 30 minutes by car away, offers a wide range of facilities including a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness centre and often entertainment for the whole family. The hotel is also a gateway to Storefjell Ski and Sledge Centre, which has slalom slopes and activities for both adults and children throughout the winter season.

Summer:
When the snow melts, Golsfjellet comes to life. Here you'll find miles of hiking and cycling trails, fishing lakes, bathing opportunities and paddling trips on Tisleifjorden. The area offers both easy family trips and challenging mountain hikes to Syno, Storefjelltoppen and Nystølvarden. With the Top 11 programme and the Pole Hunt, mountain trips become extra fun for both children and adults.
Winter:
In winter, the area transforms into a snow-covered paradise with over 200 km of prepared cross-country ski trails, two ski facilities (Golsfjellet Alpine Centre and Storefjell Ski and Sledding Centre) and wonderful sledding slopes for children.
On Tisleifjorden, you'll find one of Norway's most beautiful natural skating and kick-sledge tracks, and IceDrive offers high-speed driving on the ice track nearby.
Experiences and mountain life:
Take a trip to a local mountain pasture and taste authentic pasture food – at Øynebråten pasture, you'll be served sour cream porridge, waffles and fresh milk cream in idyllic surroundings. You can also join a horse ride, canoe trip or snowmobile safari.

Welcome to our traditional mountain cabin, perfect for those seeking an authentic alpine experience in peaceful and scenic surroundings.
The cabin is authentically furnished and offers a genuine cozy mountain atmosphere! It has 3 bedrooms and a loft, making it ideal for families or smaller groups. You’ll find one bedroom with a double bed (150x200 cm), one with a single bunk bed (70x200 cm), and one with a small family bunk bed (120x200 cm / 70x200 cm). The loft provides two additional sleeping spots and a warm, inviting space that children especially will enjoy.
This is a classic Norwegian mountain farm cabin (støl), full of character and history in its walls. In the summer, the farm comes alive with animals grazing nearby, giving guests a truly special and authentic experience—perfect for both young and old.
The surrounding area offers wonderful experiences year-round. In the summer, there are excellent opportunities for cycling and exploring the beautiful mountain landscape, while in the winter, ski trails start right outside the door. You can strap on your skis and head straight into prepared tracks.
The cabin is also only about 4 km from Storefjell, where you’ll find facilities and a range of activities.
