🏡 The cabin is spacious, welcoming and completely renovated to a high standard — an ideal choice for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy mountain experiences in all seasons. This cottage has in a short time managed to become a real guest favorite, thanks to its combination of comfort, location and atmosphere. With its 150 m² spread over five bedrooms, a large living room, a spacious kitchen and two separate toilets, the cottage offers comfort for up to 11 guests. 🌬️ The location is peaceful and secluded, with stunning views over towards Kikat. It is located only 900 meters from the hill in Havsdalen, and in good snow conditions you can ski all the way down to the hut. A ski bus stops at Bardøla Hotell, just 1 km away.
🛫 For guests arriving by plane, we recommend Oslo Airport as the arrival airport. From here it is possible to rent a car and drive to Geilo (about 3.5 hours drive). In winter, it is recommended to rent a 4x4 vehicle due to demanding driving conditions in the mountains.

Traditional and beautiful cabin located on Gamle Skurdalsvegen, halfway between Vestlia and Kikut. The cabin is secluded and has 5 full bedrooms. With immediate proximity to ski slopes - both cross-country and alpine - and plenty of space, this is a wonderful starting point for a holiday in Geilo for 1 or 2 families.

About Geilo
Geilo has been voted Norway's Best Ski Resort for 5 years in a row - not without reason. Geilo offers a rich range of activities in the high mountains and is close to the national parks Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda. Geilo has a diverse range of activities, a ski resort that extends up the mountainsides on either side of the valley, connected by a free ski bus - in addition to endless cross-country trails. There are horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing, ice fishing, water parks, bowling alleys, and a unique, vibrant center with diverse shops and eateries.
Vestlia
Vestlia in Geilo is the perfect starting point for a relaxing holiday in Geilo. Here, you have access to the fantastic cross-country network in Geilo, with groomed ski trails around Ustadalsfjorden, perfect for a family trip. Vestlia Resort offers a play area, bowling alleys, water park, as well as a bar and restaurant. SkiGeilo's alpine resort, spanning both sides of the valley, is connected with a free shuttle bus between the sides, and Vestlia is the perfect starting point. There are several children's slopes, Norway's best park area for children and youth. In summer, you can take your bike up the lift and ride down the flow trails or try the pump track located just behind Vestlia Resort.
Geilo is easily accessible from both Bergen and Oslo, located approximately halfway between Norway's largest cities along Route 7, or by train to Geilo - where you can put on your skis and head straight to the ski slopes. Geilo has good driving conditions throughout the year.
